Help with turning Neckties into cool stuff!

Just saw this post on Whipup and can't believe when I did a quick search for crazy quilt necktie quilts, bags, etc that I came up with nothing.
Can everyone post some photos and then post a note over at Whipup? There are tons of things to do with silk ties...I can't believe there aren't some really cool pictures out there (simple and difficult in creativity level!). I saw a gal at our street festival that did hats, etc.
One of the pieces of advice was to take them apart (which you could do - yuck the time!) but I know I've seen lots of cool stuff with intact ties!
